Coffee Throwdowns are fast-paced competitions where coffee baristas create and pour beautiful latte works of art in cups of steaming hot coffee. All eyes will be on the baristas as they show off their skills under the watchful eyes of judges and of course, coffee enthusiasts. Will it go to a sudden-death match? Will the defending champ take it all again? Check out the highly caffeinated Kona Coffee Signature Beverage Throwdown on Thursday, November 10 starting at 6 pm at Kona Coffee & Tea Company at Kona Coast Shopping Center.

To build confidence, Kona Coffee & Tea Company hosts a Kona Coffee Barista Training starting at 5pm on Monday, November 7 where seasoned coffee educators, trainers and professionals guide a robust coffee education experience in manual brewing techniques, espresso techniques, milk steaming, and latte art.

Cupping judges trained as Licensed Q Graders, have been busy this week evaluating Kona’s single estate farms and large farms that have entered the prestigious Kona Coffee Cupping Competition. Find out which Kona coffee farmer will walk away with the prestigious cupping win announced on Friday, November 11 at the Kona Coffee Village happening at Hale Halawai County Pavilion.
